After some major design block last week, I finally found inspiration this morning and rocked the poster for our BANDED Showcase!
I can’t even express how amazing this show is going to be, with some of the most talented acts Boston has to offer: Zili Misik, Aloud, The Michael J. Epstein Memorial Library, Ghost Box Orchestra and Tumbleweed Company!
I was sort of panicking last week because the poster just wasn’t coming together, and my coworkers have invested so much into this project that I felt like I was letting them down by designing a dull poster. I found inspiration in vintage fair posters and tried to give it a modern feel with bold saturated colors.
