My first paying gig was modeling how fun these crazy huge Apple computers were. I got 25 bucks. Never would’ve guessed back then, playing Oregon Trail, that a few decades later I would be making a living with songs I recorded on Apple computers. Or that me and my friends would all have our very own Apple computers. Tiny Apple computers that we take everywhere in our backpacks. Our backpacks that we wear on both shoulders. And even tinier Apple computer phones that we would carry in our fannypacks so we can check our new video edits on the toilet and in the parking lot at the co-op. We’ve all nerded out hard. And somehow you made that cool.
Thanks Mr. Jobs.
You done all us creation makers and communicators and game players real good.

The PULSE BANDED SHOWCASE is tomorrow night!!!
Our team picked 5 amazing Boston bands to write & record an original tune, while we documented the process. As someone who is trying to figure out this whole songwriting thing, I think it’s such a cool project & I can’t wait to see the footage.
Tomorrow night, all five bands are playing a showcase at the Brighton Music Hall. I can’t even tell you how great this show is going to be. I would go see each of these bands on their own (and I have!)
TL;DR - awesome project, amazing show, not to be missed.
I may have failed at art & music today, but dinner is a win!

GPOYW: Ontario Barn Fest!
I accompanied Stephen on House of the Rising Sun last week during his set at the Ontario Barn Festival. It was scary & intimidating but I’m glad I did it. Singing with a mike, with my uke plugged in & hearing myself through the monitors was the weirdest thing ever.
